 Marquita was born in Louisville, Kentucky and is the youngest of four children. She currently resides in Indianapolis, IN. Although her father and grandmother are now gone to be with the Lord, Marquita believes that the strong Christian values instilled in her by her parents and grandmother has contributed to her call as a vessel for the Lord. She received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and was water baptized at the age of 8. At this time, the Lord appeared to her in a dream and continues to speak to her through dreams. She was later baptized in the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit began to manifest within her. She is an ordained minister and has served with many ministries in the past. The Lord has given Marquita and Word and Truth Ministries an end-time commission to help save the lost, to set the captives free, to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help Christians to be the best that they can be for the Kingdom of God. In John 17, Jesus prayed that His disciples would be sanctified by the truth of the word. Since this ministry is commissioned to disciple God's people and is an end-time ministry with an end-time commission, it is Marquita's desire to continue preaching the gospel, teaching the word of God and helping the captives to be set free until the Lord Jesus Christ appears in the clouds and we are taken up to be with Him.

 After prayer and seeking God's will, Marquita was led to begin Word and Truth Ministries International, Inc.
Word and Truth Ministries is an evangelistic outreach ministry ministering to men and women. We are an end-time ministry pledged to maintain an emphasis upon a scriptural, Christ-centered and spirit-filled teaching ministry.
We are a non-denominational ministry. We seek the unsaved to teach them and to help them to become believers.
We teach Christians and help them to better understand the Bible.
We help Christians find their gifts and instruct them on how to use and perfect them for the work of the ministry.
We are committed to fulfilling the Divine Commission of our Lord and we will go into all of the world and preach the gospel as the Lord leads before the imminent return of Jesus Christ.
